Touring MPX’s Grow Facility
As consumers of cannabis, it’s easy to forget about the whole process that a cart went through to be in your hand. Or how long it took for the buds in your grinder to grow, what kind of soil was used to produce the best quality flower possible. I’m super guilty of this, I’m always focused on what’s right in front of me. This is why, when I was invited to tour MPX’s grow facility, I nearly jumped out of my seat to RSVP. I (as most in the industry) have a deep love for the plant, and to be able to see the process of how we get product into our store seemed like a magical experience. Spoiler alert: It was way cooler than I could’ve imagined.
First, let’s start out with ALL of the staff that worked at the facility, they weren’t just super nice, they were also extremely knowledgeable. You could feel their passion as they talked about the work they do. Every person in that building is pouring their heart and soul into these plants (that’s the secret ingredient to huge nugs, love!).
The Starting Stages of the Plant
After suiting up in these blue body suits, we were taken to the first room, this is where the plants are just little babies. 
The next rooms focused on helping the plant grow to the next stage, this is before they start to flower. LED lights are used in replacement of sunlight, and the plant is starting to get taller and grow more leaves/branches.
Heaven Is a Place on Earth-and It’s a Grow House
Finally, the part that (in my opinion) was the coolest was the fully grown cannabis plant with nugs. The moment the door is opened it almost feels like you’re looking at heaven’s gate, with how bright the orange light is, it practically blinds you. With the earthly sweet scent, you can almost hear the angels singing too.
They showed the Brotherly Bud Crew the lab, where we were shown how they use heat and pressure (which is pressed by hand) to make rosin. They showed us all of their fancy machines that help them make all different kinds of concentrate, and even showed us the strains they were currently working on! 
A Plant Packed with Love-From the Grow House to Your Favorite Dispensary
We were also let in on a secret, MPX hand trims EVERYTHING. Trimming the plant, separating the dried leaves from the buds, everything is manual labor. The love that they put into every single step of the process truly shines through in their quality. I always knew something made them stand out from other brands in the industry. Next time you’re sitting on your couch super blazed, think about all of the steps this beautiful little nug had to go through to get to you, seriously, it’ll blow your mind.
